So I have long hair and when I received the OSiS+ Gelastic I was at a total loss on what to do. Then I read somewhere (and I wish I could remember which site it was) that if you mix 1:2 Gelastic and water and apply from roots to halfway down your hair and blow dry it gives you great volume. So that's what I did.

Meg's OSiS+ Gelastic Process: (Pics below)

1. Take shower and was hair as normal

2. Mix the gel and water (I used WAY to much and have tons of left over oops!)

3. Part hair as normal

4. I have side swooping bangs and I didn't want to use the gel on them so I styled them as I normally do.

5. Section hair, I did some on both sides and then in back

6. Add gel+water mixture to section and blow dry (I use a round brush blow dry thingy pic below)

7. Work way around head and boom you're done!

Things I would do differently:

• Mix just a little bit less (ok a lot less)
• Go slower, I was so worried about the rest of my hair drying that I went kind of fast and I could've styled it a lot more.
• Experiment a little bit more with different blow drying techniques (for example diffuse)

Things I love:

• It smells awesome
• I have great volume now
• My hair is super soft and not crunchy like I thought it would be.

Directions on box (pics below):

- Find the correct size for each nail. (If needed use smaller sizes for best results)

- Lay out 10 nails in finger order.

- Cleanse natural nails with enclosed prep pad

- For best adhesion, firmly apply nails, thumb nails last.

**Personal Notes From Applying**

- I had to use the smaller size #smallfingerprobs

- I was a little concerned about the cleansing pad but it's basically just an alcohol wipe thing like they use at the doctors.

- Also with the cleansing pad, mine dried out really quickly so once you open this don't wait to cleanse do it right away.

- When putting on make sure you have it centered... I didn't do that with the first one oops!

- I'm left handed so I was a bit concerned about putting all of the right hand on first and then trying to do my left hand so I did my pinky and ring fingers first, then middle and pointer fingers and of course thumbs last!

**Final Notes**

Overall it was very simple and easy to apply them. I've never worn fake nails before so I was happy with how simple it was to put them on. So far I've only typed and texted with them on but since I'm a photographer I'll be testing them a bit further with taking and editing a few pictures. And of course all the daily things that you go through, stay tuned for a future post in a few days once I wear them for several days.

I'm not a big fan of the giraffe pattern or cow as my sister thinks they look like but I was surprisingly pleased with the end results!  Now without further ado the pictures!
